Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 23, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of jobs.truckstopcanada.com (the “Job Board”), operated by Truck Stop Canada (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, posting a job, applying for a job or otherwise using the Job Board, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Job Board.

1. What the Job Board is

The Job Board connects people looking for work in trucking and transportation (“Job Seekers”) with companies and recruiters who have positions to fill (“Employers”). We provide the platform only. We are not an employer, staffing agency or recruiter for any job listed here, we are not a party to any employment or contract between a Job Seeker and an Employer, and we do not guarantee that any job will be filled or that any Job Seeker will be hired.

2. Who can use it

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.
  • Job Seekers must be legally entitled to work in the place where the job is located, or be applying in good faith. Immigration and licensing requirements are between you and the Employer.
  • If you use the Job Board for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that business.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account, so tell us right away at the address below if you suspect unauthorized use.
  • One person, one account. Do not create accounts for someone else without their permission or create duplicate accounts to avoid a restriction.

4. Job Seekers

  • CVs, resumes, profile details and applications must be truthful and must be yours to share.
  • When you apply, the details and documents you submit (including your CV, name, email and phone number) are sent to the Employer. If you make your resume or profile public or searchable, Employers and other visitors can see it. You control this in your account.
  • Employers decide whom to interview or hire. We do not verify Employers’ claims, licences, pay or working conditions. Do your own checks before sharing sensitive documents or accepting a position.
  • Never pay a fee to apply for a job or to be hired through the Job Board, and be careful with requests for banking details, a Social Insurance Number or ID copies before a real offer. Report anything suspicious to us.

5. Employers and job postings

If you post a job or contact Job Seekers, you agree that:

  • the position is real and currently open, and the job title, duties, location, pay and requirements are accurate and not misleading;
  • you are authorized to recruit for the company named in the posting, and you will keep company information current;
  • the posting and your hiring practices comply with applicable law, including human rights, employment standards, pay equity and privacy laws, and do not discriminate on prohibited grounds (such as race, colour, origin, religion, sex, gender identity, age or disability). Requirements that are genuinely needed for the job, such as a valid licence class, are fine;
  • you will not charge Job Seekers a fee, ask them to buy equipment or training as a condition of hire, or use the Job Board for pyramid, “work from home” or other get-rich schemes;
  • you will use Job Seekers’ personal information only to consider and respond to their application and will protect it in line with applicable privacy law.

We may edit, decline, remove or refuse to renew any posting, without refund where you have breached these Terms, if it is misleading, duplicated, unlawful or does not fit the Job Board.

6. Paid services

  • Some services, such as job packages or featured placements, are paid. The price, duration and what is included are shown before you pay. Prices are in Canadian dollars unless stated, and applicable taxes (GST/QST/HST) are added.
  • Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store full card details.
  • Packages start when the posting goes live and end when the posting period ends. Unless we say otherwise at purchase, or the law gives you a right to a refund, fees are non-refundable once a posting has been published.
  • We may change prices for future purchases at any time.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • post content that is false, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene or that infringes anyone’s rights;
  • upload malware, probe or test the security of the Job Board, or interfere with its normal operation;
  • scrape, harvest or copy job postings, resumes or contact details, by automated means or otherwise, or use them for mass emailing, resale or building a competing service without our written permission;
  • send spam or unsolicited promotions to other users, or use the Job Board for advertising that is not a genuine job posting;
  • impersonate another person or company, or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • use the Job Board in any way that breaks the law.

8. Your content

“Your Content” means the text, images, CVs, logos and other material you submit. You keep ownership of it. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and share Your Content as needed to run and promote the Job Board, for example showing your job posting on our site and in our job feeds and social media, and delivering your application to an Employer. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for copies already shared with Employers or other users, and backups kept for a reasonable period.

You promise that you have the right to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. We may remove Your Content at any time if we believe it breaks these Terms or the law.

9. Our content and intellectual property

The Job Board, its design, software, logos (including “Truck Stop Canada”), and the content we create are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may use the Job Board for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from it except as allowed by these Terms or with our written permission.

10. Third-party links and services

Job postings and other pages may link to employer websites, social networks or other third-party services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Sign-in through Google or Facebook is also subject to those providers’ terms.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Job Board and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access, and remove your content, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect users or the Job Board. Sections that by their nature should continue (for example intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) survive termination.

12. Disclaimers

The Job Board is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that the Job Board will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that job postings, Employers, Job Seekers or any information on it are accurate, complete, lawful or suitable for you. Using information from the Job Board, and dealing with other users, is at your own risk.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost income, lost opportunities or lost data, arising from your use of the Job Board or from dealings between users. We are also not liable for the acts, omissions, postings or content of Employers, Job Seekers or other users. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for intentional or gross fault or for bodily injury, and nothing affects the rights you have under Quebec consumer protection law or other mandatory laws.

14. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us and our team for claims, losses and reasonable costs that arise from Your Content, your misuse of the Job Board, or your breach of these Terms or of anyone else’s rights.

15. Complaints, copyright and reports

To report a suspicious or unlawful posting, a scam, content that infringes your rights, or a privacy concern, email us at [email protected] with the link to the page and what is wrong. We will review reports and take the action we consider appropriate.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When the change is significant, we will post a notice on the Job Board or email registered users. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version. If you keep using the Job Board after the effective date, you accept the updated Terms.

17. General

  • Governing law: these Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be brought before the courts of the Province of Quebec, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you may have to bring a claim where you live.
  • If a part is unenforceable, the rest of these Terms still applies.
  • Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Job Board. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not given it up.
  • Assignment: we may transfer our rights under these Terms to a successor of our business. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
  • Language: The parties have expressly required that these Terms and all related documents be drawn up in English. Les parties ont expressément exigé que les présentes conditions et tous les documents connexes soient rédigés en anglais.
